When preparing a ceremonial drink, add one ounce of cacao to four ounces of water, and mix well. Add a little honey if you wish to connect with your heart during ceremony, meditation, or yoga. This cacao can also be used for hot chocolate, smoothies, or making sugar-free and keto-friendly chocolate.

The Arhuaca tribe of the Sierra Nevada in Colombia is the source of this Caribbean Cacao from Origen Cacao. The cacao is grown organically on ancestral lands, the way it has been done for centuries. The cacao is infused with the Arhuaca tribal culture, along with other medicinal plants. Their crops represent the knowledge and teachings of their ancestors, and you can tap into their history and their “pensamientos” while drinking it.

Hand-picked cacao beans are fermented according to their tradition after they are harvested. As a result of this fermentation, a transformational process begins that enables the beans to develop a rich, complex chocolatey flavor. Once the fermentation is complete, the beans are sun dried. The cacao is then sent to our factory and farm near Medellin and hand sorted. Please note that this is 100% pure cacao and does not contain any sugar. It may be bitter.
