More about B. Caapi
Banisteriopsis caapi is one of hundreds of species of plants located in tropical America, three of which are renowned for their hallucinogenic properties when used in Ayahuasca. The most famous and main ingredient found in said practice is none other than B. caapi; its exact native locale is a mystery as it is grown throughout the Amazon region. This plant flourishes as both a shrub and liana in tropical climates and can be identified by its chocolate-brown bark, opposite oval-shaped leaves with entire margins and petals that range from orange to yellow. Cultivation of this species is typically done via vegetative measures as it seldom flowers or produces viable seeds.
