More About Hibiscus Tincture
Found as the main ingredient in countless tea options, supplements, and natural extracts, Hibiscus sabdariffa is a flowering plant that presents various subtypes and is native to the areas of Malaysia and India, yet still harvested in other tropical and subtropical countries such as Ecuador.
Different parts of this plant present unique compounds and nutrients, but carbohydrates, potassium, vitamin B and C, calcium, and magnesium can be mainly found in raw hibiscus. This herb also contains flavonoids and organic and phenolic acids, which can act as antioxidants.
Because of these compounds, hibiscus is believed to help in cases of chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure but nothing of this is proven and as such is just circumstantial.
