Authentic, original Maeng Da – famed, and first named as such by our suppliers who initially brought (this variety of) Kratom to the market in 2004.
The white-veined leaves bear the deep green skin of the tropical forest; the powder has a darker red-green hue and comes as fine as 74 microns (200 US mesh). Cultivated, not engineered – contrary to other information available online: Maeng Da is not a genetically engineered strain of Thai Kratom.

Kratom plant info

Mitragyna speciosa belongs to the Rubiaceae (Coffee family). It is an evergreen tree native to Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. It usually grows to a height of around 15 feet though in some cases can reach up to 50 feet depending on species and location. The plant has a branch width of over 15 feet. The leaves are smooth, ovate-acuminate, opposite and dark green in color, and can grow to more than 7 inches long and 4 inches wide. The flowers are yellow and grow in clusters.
