Huayusa is used by people of the Amazon basin to make an energizing tea, with the interesting effect of inducing lucid dreaming, and being helpful in recalling them. For those interested in shamanic dreaming this is certainly the plant to explore. This plant is discussed on the Ayahuasca Forum. Two teaspoons of shredded leaves, or 6-7 whole leaves are softly boiled for 20 minutes in a liter of water until the liquid has a golden transparent color.
